Lake Texoma provides many opportunities of enjoyment from anything like boating/skiing etc to going on a big freshwater fishing trip. At lake Texoma, anybody from all ages can find something to do during their time here.

Lake Texoma has no been dredged but it is possible that it will be dredged soon.
Like any other lake, Lake Texoma has both point pollution and non-point pollution problems but it is no serious threat to the aquatic community yet.
During the fall turnover, it can be challenging to have a good fishing day, but if you continue to look for a spot you may find one.
As of now, nowhere in North Texas uses lake Texoma for drinking water other than the area around the lake but it is said that Lake Texoma will be used for drinking water around other parts of north Texas soon.
Recreation at Lake Texoma includes fishing, wildlife viewing, water sports, picnicking, horseback riding, hiking, camping, boating, hotel/lodges, and environmental education.
As long as you are fishing legally (with a license), it is okay to eat the fish you catch.
Lake Texoma was man made in 1994 and faces so issues so it is expected to last a long time.
Lake Texoma was created by the Denison Dam and is controlled by U.S Army Corps of Engineers.
There are no endangered species at Lake Texoma other than the Bald Eagle
The deepest part of Lake Texoma is 100 feet deep. At the bottom you will find catfish, while near the middle and top is where you’ll find species like the striped and small-mouth bass, crappie, bluegill, etc.
